For the second week in a row scheduled completions for local varsity and junior varsity sports teams have been postponed because of the weather.

The Lake Placid baseball and softball team were both slated to take on Crown Point at home on Monday. Those two games have now been rescheduled to Friday this week, with both contests starting at 4:30 p.m. The games against Crown Point were already postponed one time earlier this season because of the weather.

The Blue Bombers boys and girls tennis matches which were scheduled to take place in Schroon Lake on Monday have been canceled.

Monday’s Saranac Lake varsity and JV softball away games against Peru were postponed to Monday, May 8 at 4:30 p.m. The Red Storm varsity and JV baseball home games against Peru on Monday were not postponed.

For Tupper Lake, both the varsity baseball and softball teams’ away contests have been postponed. The baseball team is now slated to take on St. Lawrence on the road today, while the softball team will take on Colton-Pierrepont on May 11. Both games are scheduled for a 4:30 p.m. start.
