CHAZY — The Lake Placid boys basketball team raced out to an early lead then held on to secure a 49-44 victory over Chazy on Monday night.

Jearanut Tantitanomwong scored 21 of his game-high 32 points in the first half as the Blue Bombers went into the locker room at halftime with a comfortable lead. Lake Placid opened the game with a 17-2 run.

Jake Coursen contributed eight points for the Blue Bombers.

Brice Panetta paced Chazy with 15 points and teammate Ben Norcross chipped in 13.

Johnsburg 54, Lake Placid 30

NORTH CREEK — Khaleah Cleveland racked up 30 points, eight rebounds and five assists to lead Johnsburg to a 54-30 victory over Lake Placid on Monday night.

Izzy Armstrong scored eight points as Lake Placid’s high-scorer.
