To the editor:

My family arrived in Saranac Lake with our two sons almost 20 years ago. One of the first neighbors we met in our Helen Hill neighborhood was Melinda Little. Melinda was fun, smart, helpful, (made a great martini) and was a great neighbor to have! Over the years, Melinda helped my son Leo, a young entrepreneur, learn the ropes of starting a business. Next month, my almost 30 year old son will be opening his own business. We are so grateful to Melinda for her guidance.

I’ve worked with Melinda on multiple projects over the years and I can’t think of anyone that would make a better mayor. An excellent listener, an ethical and honest person, an innovator, kind and helpful, she’s a true leader. Melinda would be a great mayor for ALL of Saranac Lake. I’m excited she’s running, it means a bright future for Saranac Lake and I will be thrilled to cast my vote for my friend Melinda on Election Day!
