Jay has the experience, management skills and leadership for this position, as demonstrated by his many years of service to the Lake Placid community. While working at Whiteface Mountain, I have observed Jay plan, organize and implement outstanding snow sports programs in both his position as Whiteface Mountain general manager and executive director of the New York Ski Education Foundation. Jay’s current experience as a member of the North Elba town board will provide valuable continuity in the managing of current and future challenges. Jay has been a strong and dedicated advocate for veterans and members of the disabled population. I strongly support Jay Rand for supervisor, town of North Elba
