To the editor:

Year after year, the North Elba Community Christmas Fund works hard to help families in the town of North Elba and village of Lake Placid have a Merry Christmas. We rely on the generosity of local organizations and residents to help us reach this goal each holiday season. We are hoping this year will see even bigger involvement from the community!

Therefore, we appeal to you once again for your support of the North Elba Community Christmas Fund. As you are aware, food and goods prices continue to increase each year, and we are all faced with this on a daily basis. We anticipate that even more families will need our help during this coming Christmas season.

We are grateful to you for your continued support of the Christmas Fund, and we hope we can count on your generosity again this holiday season.

We would appreciate your early response to this appeal so that we may do as much purchasing beforehand as possible, taking advantage of sales and discounts.
