Artist Guild hosts juried show opening

SARANAC LAKE – The Adirondack Artists Guild will host a reception for its annual juried show on Friday, March 8 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Noreen Sadue, an artist and former art teacher from Plattsburgh, will be the juror. This exhibit, held each year in March, showcases some of the finest art produced in the region and beyond. Everyone is welcome to come and see the artwork and meet the artists. Four cash prizes will be awarded at 6 p.m.

Ballots will be available throughout the run of the show for visitors to vote for the People’s Choice award, which will be announced when the show ends on April 20.

The Adirondack Artists Guild is a cooperative retail art gallery representing a diverse group of artists residing and working in the Tri-Lakes region of the Adirondack Park.

The gallery is located at 52 Main St., Saranac Lake, and can be reached at 518-891-2615.

Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays.
