SARANAC LAKE – Adam Federman, the author of “Fasting and Feasting: The Life of Visionary Food Writer Patience Gray,” will be at the Adirondack Artists Guild on Friday to sign copies of his book with a reception from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. with light refreshments.

At 5:30, he will speak about the book and how he came to write it.

He is a reporting fellow with the Investigative Fund at the Nation Institute. His writing has appeared in the Washington Post, Slate, the Nation magazine and other publications.
