LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid golf team notched its third win of the season on Tuesday, beating the AuSable Valley Patriots 3.5 to 2.5 at the Craig Wood Golf Course.

Lake Placid’s Brady Tremblay was the co-medalist along with his opponent, AuSable Valley’s Porter Goodman, after they tied with low rounds of 38 in the number one match.

Grady Draper, Chris Byrne and Carver Bell were credited with victories for the Blue Bombers. Draper defeated Jack Thomas 40-43, Byrne beat Ethan Crowingshield 39-49 and Bell topped Ethan Hart 47-51

Lake Placid’s Liam Gotham was narrowly defeated in the fifth position, falling to Oliver Darr 67-68. The Patriots’ Emma Vilegi earned a win in the sixth position after Lake Placid had to forfeit without one of its players. Vilegi shot a 58.

With the team win the Blue Bombers improved to 3-1 overall. The team is slated to play Saranac Central today at the Barracks Golf Course in Plattsburgh. The match will start at 3:30 p.m.
