Beware of bullies
To the editor:
We recently received a campaign solicitation from Brent Davison, who is running for State Assembly. We are so weary of self-promotion grounded in the denigration of others. Lies, trash-talk, mockery and labeling other people and their ideas as dangerous are disrespectful and deceitful. It reveals more to me about Mr. Davison’s character and disposition than theirs. This style of political discourse breeds division and fear, and does not result in good government. The bullies are the dangerous ones. The methods employed to gain a position of power will be the methods used to keep it.
