To the editor:

What a heartfelt write-up titled “Charlie Kirk and the unraveling of our Democracy” by John Gereau, publisher.

Yes, sadly, we have become a country of intolerance. We DO put hate and anger ahead of moral integrity or compromise.

I believe that the changes to our country come from people in power who are from other countries. They hate us, our way of life and our country. Power and control are their goal. One reason for open borders, among other things.

Groups like Black Lives Matter, Antifa and The Squad are detrimental to our way of life and country.

Sometimes change is NOT positive.

For those of us who believe, may the good Lord grow Charlie Kirk’s followers, and may the good Lord touch us with his love and mercy.
