To the editor:

The last few weeks have been an incredible journey. As we await the official election results, I wanted to take a moment to extend my gratitude to all of you.

Thank you for the many conversations, the encouragement, the guidance, your time and your vote, they were invaluable. I always seemed to receive kind words of support, or an opportunity to laugh, right when it was needed most.

To my fellow candidates–Sean, Paul, Katie, and Fred–thank you for your willingness to serve. We were able to maintain positivity throughout the process, and although we may have overwhelmed our neighbors with signs and political posts, I believe each of us have shown just how much we care about our community.

While the official results may be delayed, one thing remains certain: our community is filled with passionate, caring individuals who are committed to the betterment of our village. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this process and to have your support.
