To the editor:

For the last several years, I have worked with Lindy Ellis on the Board of Legislators of Franklin County. She has proven to be a huge asset for the people of Harrietstown and Franklin as well as all of Franklin County.

She has a remarkable ability to ask the right questions, assess the information and to understand the problems and opportunities we face in our beautiful rural home. Whether it involves repairing our roads, expanding broadband, supporting recreational facilities in Saranac Lake or farming in Franklin, she is a tireless advocate. In addition, she has a unique talent to build consensus among her fellow legislators and cooperation among county departments, workers and those groups that can positively impact our lives like the Industrial Development Agency, Emergency Services, the Sheriff’s Department and others.

Her work has had a positive impact on the lives of her friends and neighbors in southern Franklin County and the county as a whole.

If you believe in intelligent, efficient and compassionate government, I strongly urge you to vote for Lindy Ellis. We need her.
