We would like to express our sincere thanks to all participants and volunteers who ventured out in the snow and wind on Saturday, Oct. 17 to make our first annual 2k Fun Run/Walk at Kate Mountain Park, Vermontville, a success. The volunteers were Michelle Casson, Sawyer Casson, Brad Parker, Colleen Parker, Lisa Nester, Jon Hamm, Krista Tuthill, Christian King and DJ Max Nason.
The run/walk was part of Pumpkin Heaves and Autumn Leaves event sponsored by the Future is Now committee of the town of Franklin. All proceeds benefit the building of a community center at Kate Mountain Park.
