Color run raised $1,100 for food pantry

To the editor:

On Sunday, Sept. 13, a few students from Saranac Lake High School’s Student Council organized a color run to benefit the local food pantry. Despite bad weather, we had a great turnout and were able to raise over $1,100 for the food pantry.

We’d like to thank Bear Essentials, Placid Planet, Price Chopper, Hannaford, State of Mind, Post Office Pharmacy, Goody Goody’s, Starbucks, Pink, Two Horse Trading Post, Twin Crystal Rock Shop, Eco-Living, Ampersound, Adirondack Trading Co., Downhill Grill, Little Italy and Mountain Mist for their generous donations and contributions. A huge thank-you to Mr. Josh Dann as well for helping us and supporting us a ton to make the event possible. Lastly, we’d like to thank all of our participants for coming out to support us in our endeavor to benefit such a great cause.

We are so grateful for all the businesses, teachers and individuals who made our color run successful. We hope to see all of you next year!

Thanks again,
