To the editor:

The Bloomingdale Boosters Golf Classic came to life again on Sept. 6 at the beautiful Saranac Inn Golf Club, after an absence of 12 years since the Loon Lake Golf Course closed. This event supports the Boosters’ sports programs for the children of the greater Bloomingdale area.

LLC, Cape Air, Specialty Wood Products, Heath’s Auto Repair, Dupree Builders, Adirondack Daily Enterprise, Fusion Market, Wayne Darrah Autobody, Nonna Fina, High Peaks Wine and Spirits, O’Neil Contracting, NBT Bank, Graymont Quarries, Lakeside Masonry, Trudeau Sand & Gravel, Community Bank, MJ Raymond Construction, Allen Moody Landscaping, the Bloomin’ Market, Sheridan Swinyer, Adirondack Wine & Liquor, Mckenzie’s Grill, Taylor Rental, Sturdy Supply, Bear Essentials, Blue Line Sports, High Peaks Distributing, Day Dreams Boutique, Mirror Lake Inn, The Cottage, Craig Wood Golf Course, Willie King’s Golf Discount, Play It Again Sports, Whiteface Golf Club, North Country Golf Course, The Wild Center, Belvedere Restaurant, Red Fox, Malone Golf Course, Tupper Lake Country Club, Lake Placid Club, Lake Placid Pub & Brewery, Lakeview Deli and Phil Leonidas.

Thanks also to all the volunteers who worked so hard to make this event possible, and to the 144 golfers who made this tournament a classic.

Hope to see you all next year, and thanks again.

Sincerely,

Ed Baltzly
