BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE — The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts online performance series “ALCA-Seltzer Series: Online Relief from the Headaches of Social Distancing” will host its first Autumn Stream, a concert by singer-songwriter Ryan Leddick at 7 p.m. Friday.

Links to this livestream can be found on the Arts Center’s website at adirondackarts.org/alca-seltzer-streams or on its Facebook page, facebook.com/theartscenter. Donations of $15 per ticket are suggested, or what you can pay. This virtual event is generously sponsored by Pines Country Store of Indian Lake.

This livestream features a concert and interview by the Indian Lake native, who now resides in New York’s Capitol District. It will feature songs from Leddick’s brand-new album “Up, Up, and Away.” He was originally scheduled to perform these songs in a concert and album-release party at the Arts Center in July before the COVID-19 pandemic struck.

On Friday, Oct. 9, ALCA will present a virtual lecture on “forgotten” American operetta king Victor Herbert, with music performed by High Peaks Opera artists. This is a co-production of the Lake Placid-North Elba Historical Society and High Peaks Opera, with funding by the Victor Herbert Foundation through Tupper Arts. This virtual event will also be presented later this fall through Tupper Arts.

On Friday, Oct. 16, the ALCA-Seltzer Autumn Stream will feature a concert and interview by Brillhart & Smith, with fiddler Jake Brillhart and Long Lake songwriter Alex Smith. This event is sponsored by Stewart’s Shops.
