Adirondack Singers to perform annual winter holiday concert

SARANAC LAKE — The Adirondack Singers, the community chorus of the Tri-Lakes and beyond, will present their annual winter holiday concert on Sunday Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Saranac Lake. Donations are gladly accepted at the door.

Seasonal selections include some familiar pieces, such as “Personent Hodie” and “Susanni” from the Oxford Book of Carols, new settings of traditional carols, Christmas spirituals, and the ever-popular “T’was the Night Before Christmas” round out the program.

The Adirondack Barbershop Consortium will inject some humor in their part of the afternoon’s performance.

The singers are led by Karen Butters, Music Director and Conductor, from Blue Mountain Lake. Carol Lombard of Cadyville is the accompanist.

The Adirondack Singers, Inc., is a 501(c) 3 organization Tax-deductible donations are always welcome to support the educational choral experiences the group offers.
