KEENE VALLEY — Music fans are offered a special opportunity to both listen to — and interact with — top chamber music players in Keene Valley on Monday, July 15.

The Lake Placid Sinfonietta Pro Musica Chamber Music concert features internationally acclaimed pianist Navah Perlman, music director, along with cellist Jia Kim and violinist Siwoo Kim. In addition, Sinfonietta musicians Cynthia Watson, oboe, Gregory Quick, bassoon, and Amitai Vardi, clarinet, will join the Chamber group.

This is a unique musical event in the Adirondack summer.

Beginning at 7 p.m., the musicians will sit down for a discussion of their music, careers, the evening’s program, and any other topics that audience members want to raise. That discussion is planned for the Keene Valley Congregational Church community room and is co-sponsored by the Keene Valley Library.

The concert begins at 8 p.m. at the Keene Valley Congregational Church, to be followed by a reception that is open to all.

The program includes Mozart’s Divertimento No. 4 for winds and Beethoven’s Piano Trio Op 70, No. 2.

This concert is sponsored by the East Branch Friends of the Arts.

Suggestion donation is $10 for adults. Students are free.
