Camp Pendragon All-Star Fundraiser Variety Show Saturday

SARANAC LAKE – Alumni of Pendragon Theatre’s month-long theatre camp, Camp Pendragon, will sing, dance and act in a variety show fundraiser this Saturday, June 8 at 7 p.m.

Matthew Sorensen and Elizabeth Cordes, the camp’s directors, will host the show that will feature musical numbers from past camp productions such as “Beauty & the Beast” as well as other popular shows like “The Last 5 Years,” “The Greatest Showman,” “Dear Evan Hansen,” “Kiss Me Kate” and more. Sorensen will provide a preview in the role of Dan from “Next to Normal,” Pendragon’s summer musical, playing July 5 through Aug. 4.

The cast includes Jameson Batt, Noah Cordes, Eleanor Crowley, Sarah Dalton, Kendall Davison, Kirsten Denis, Stephanie Fortune, Dante Giacovelli, Max Gole, Mitchell Jensen, Danielle LaMere, Marley Levenson, Joseph Larabie, Lindsey McCreadie, Sophie Morelli, Morgan Olsen, Natalie Orman, Andrew Scanio, Annie Smith, Matt Varden, and Liz White. “The young performers chose their own material and are really excited to demonstrate the skills they have picked up at camp over the years.”

Camp Pendragon’s All-Star Fundraiser Variety Show is suitable for all ages. All proceeds from the show will go toward scholarships and operating costs for Camp Pendragon’s upcoming production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s “Mary Poppins Jr.,” running at Pendragon July 19-28. Tickets to the fundraiser are $20, available at the door and payable by check or cash only.
