SARANAC LAKE – Music on the Green continues Wednesday, July 3 at 7 p.m. with the The Barefoot Movement’s take on bluegrass. This quartet hails from Nashville, Tennessee and has toured as far as Burkina Faso, Africa where they were guests of the American Embassy.

The Barefoot Movement’s performance brings to the stage heart, energy, and a down to earth feel. Each of the four band members plays an acoustic instrument to add to the bluegrass feel, while together they crowd around a single microphone.

Back in 2014, they received a Momentum Award, naming them “Band of the Year” by the International Bluegrass Music Association.

Music on the Green is a free summer concert series that takes place in the Berkeley Green every Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

In the event of rain, the performance will move to the Hotel Saranac.
