‘The Hundred Dresses’ at Pendragon

SARANAC LAKE – Opening this Thursday, May 9 and running through this Sunday, Mothers Day, Pendragon Theatre presents “The Hundred Dresses,” a play based on Eleanor Estes’ 1945 Newbury honored book.

This family friendly story is set in small town depression-era America and tells the story of 10-year-old outsider Wanda Petronski, her classmates and the difficulties they encounter during this troubled time in America’s history.

`The cast includes Rosalie Allen, Essie Ames, Sophie Colarusso, Anna Day, Emma Gnamm, River Gray, Stephanie Kilbourne-Hill, Ebin Meissner, Terrance Kemp, Peg Orman and Barrie Ramsey.

“The Hundred Dresses” plays this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Mothers Day, at 2 p.m.

General admission is $10, 8 years old and under $5 and are available online at www.pendragontheatre.org, by calling 518-891-1854 or at the theater at 15 Brandy Brook Ave.

Run time is under 1 hour.
