SARANAC LAKE – BluSeed Studios presents veteran entertainers Peggy Lynn, Dan Duggan and Dan Berggren who together perform as Jamcrackers for a signature evening of entertainment at BluSeed Studios at 24 Cedar St. at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 6.

This trio came together and named their band in honor of the river drivers who broke up log jams. Those river drivers worked hard to find solutions to get things rolling again. It was a job that couldn’t be accomplished alone. Dan, Peggy, and Dan feel the same way about their music. The three bring a rare blend of humor and history to their musical performances.

Each have their own specialty and connection to the Adirondacks. Dan Berggren’s music reflects the spirit of the hard-working people of the region and has shared that music around the world as far as Central Africa and Transylvania.

Peggy Lynn writes and performs songs about women and the natural beauty of the North Country. Her bluesy alto melts hearts and her gift for interspersing personal experiences between songs keeps her audience ever engaged.

National Hammered Dulcimer Champion, Dan Duggan, is know from Maine to California for his wizardry on the hammered dulcimer, flat-picking guitar, and keyboards. He boasts an extensive array of recordings including Paul Simon’s Grammy-nominated album You’re the One and The Paul Simon Collection. Many of Dan’s original tunes are published in the collection Coming Home.

Admission is $15.
