SARANAC LAKE – Kari Lansing will present “The Role of Exercise in Maintaining and Improving Health” at the next Library Lunch program at the Saranac Lake Free Library on Thursday, March 21, from noon to 1 p.m.

Lansing has been with Adirondack Health since 2008 in the Rehabilitation Department until she recently became the fitness manager at the new Medical Fitness Center in Lake Placid. She enjoys working with a wide spectrum of clients from the young to the not-so-young and from the injured to the high performance athlete. Staying active is especially important for older adults, and Lansing says that “Feeling younger doesn’t have to be so hard —- you can fight aging with a few basic tips.”

Lansing has a bachelor of science and master of science in athletic training and has been a certified athletic trainer and conditioning specialist for over 20 years.

All presentations of the Library Lunch Series are free and open to the public. Those attending are encouraged to bring soup or a sandwich if they like, and desserts and beverages will be served, compliments of the excellent bakers on the Refreshment Committee. For more information, call the library at 518-891-4190, or visit on Facebook at www.facebook.com/saranaclakefreelibrary.
