SARANAC LAKE – Gene and Esther Baker present the fourth concert in the Bach Around Town music series, featuring the six unaccompanied cello suites by J.S. Bach.

This concert will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 16 at Harrietstown Town Hall.

For this performance the fourth cello suite is paired with solo trumpet in a rare exhibition of contemporary classical music for trumpet alone.

Gene and Esther Baker lived in Saranac Lake for four years before moving to Keene Valley this fall where Gene teaches middle and high school band.

Gene and Esther support the Saranac Lake and Lake Placid musicals, and teach private lessons within the greater Adirondack community. In other capacities they have served the community in private home health and computer restoration.

Admission is free, but donations will be gratefully received.
