SARANAC LAKE — The Rotary Club of Saranac Lake will celebrate the 90th Winter Carnival Show at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8 in the Harrietstown Town Hall. For 90 years, Rotary members have delighted audiences closing the show with their annual “number” featuring “talent,” creativity, a healthy sense of humor and some downright outrageous routines.

The 2019 Rotary Show will lead off with an introduction of Winter Carnival Royalty and their court and will feature performances by the Saranac Lake High School Vocal Ensembles, Julie Robards, Crackin’ Foxy, Soma Beats, students of the Dance Sanctuary and the Joe Dockery Trio. Master of Ceremonies Franny Preston keeps the commentary light and lively and there will be baked goods and water for sale. Tickets, which are $15 in advance, may be purchased in advance at Ampersound, the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, Coakley Home and Hardware, NBT Bank, Post Office Pharmacy, Hotel Saranac or the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are $20 online via the Eventbrite link on the Saranac Lake Rotary Club Facebook page or $20 at the door.

The show typically sells out.

Proceeds from the Rotary Show go right back into the community funding projects throughout the year.
