SARANAC LAKE — BluSeed Studios presents veteran entertainers Peggy Lynn and Dan Duggan for two signature BluSeed events this December.

First, on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 7:30 p.m., Lynn and Duggan will host Open-Minded Mic Night featuring talented local performers on the stage in the BluSeed Gallery space.

Performers who want to showcase their work need to arrive at 7 p.m. to sign-up. For audience members the show starts at 7:30 p.m. All genres are accepted and random door prizes will be awarded.

BluSeed is proud to offer a platform for all performance artists to showcase and try out their work before a supportive audience of their peers.

Open-Minded Mic nights are funded with a grant from the Glenn and Carol Pearsall Adirondack Foundation.

BluSeed Studios is pleased to have Peggy Lynn and Dan Duggan onboard to guide new talent through this entertaining evening and then appear again on Saturday, Dec. 15 in their own Holiday Special.

The Dec. 15 Holiday Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Performers Peggy Lynn and Dan Duggan will be joined by multi-instrumentalist Tyler DeZago for an evening of merriment, music, and camaraderie in the Gallery space at BluSeed Studios.

Dan and Peggy are known for their unique arrangements of seasonal songs and tunes and masterful harmonies. Tyler DeZago is a new, multi-talented addition to the North Country music scene. He is part of the folk trio, Partridge in the Pines, and BluSeed is eager to present him as part of this special and heartwarming holiday music fest with North Country favorites Peggy and Dan.

Doors open at 7 p.m. for this special holiday concert at BluSeed Studios in Saranac Lake. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is $12 for BluSeed members and $15 for non-members.

During this time of year, the BluSeed Gallery is also a place to purchase one-of-a-kind, handcrafted gifts. The Off-the-Wall exhibit features works of local artists that sell for less than $100. Purchases may be made on the spot and the item comes off the wall and goes home with the purchaser. Sales may be made at scheduled BluSeed events like Open-Minded Mic night or the Holiday Concert, as well as during regular business hours and by appointment.
