Digital slide show by Gerry Lemmo Saturday

SARANAC LAKE — Photographer and world traveler Gerry Lemmo will present a digital slide show about his time spent traveling through Kenya and Tanzania at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7 at Saranac Village at Will Rogers.

This slide talk will focus on the bird species including: the cinnamon-chested bee eater, vulturine guinea fowl, lilac-breasted roller and great-spotted thick knee.

Lemmo’s photographs have been featured in many books, calendars and magazines including National Geographic, Adirondack Life and Adirondack Explorer. He has also worked with the National Audubon Society, International Paper, The Nature Conservancy, General Electric, the San Diego Zoo, The London Times and the National Wildlife Federation. Lemmo has visited six continents and has a collection of over 70,000 photographs; some which have been seen in over 20 countries.
