The North Country Ballet Ensemble will hold auditions in September for the 32nd annual “Nutcracker.”

Performances take place at Hartman Theater of SUNY Plattsburgh and at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts in November and December.

Dancers of all styles and abilities are invited to attend. All dancers are invited to audition in Lake Placid at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts stage, 17 Algonquin Drive, Lake Placid on Saturday, Sept. 16.

Auditions are divided by age and level.

The auditions on Saturday, Sept. 16 (boys and girls) are as follows:

Girls age 5-6 — 1 p.m.

Girls age 7-9 – 1:15 p.m.

*Girls age 10-12 – 1:45 p.m.

Boys (all ages) – 2:45 p.m.

Girls age 12+ – 3:15 p.m.

*Girls ages 10-12 may be invited to stay for the 12+ audition

**Girls with 2-plus years en pointe bring pointe shoes

Dancers of all abilities are welcome.

There is a $20 non-refundable audition fee and a participation fee of $65 due at the time of audition.
