SARANAC LAKE – BluSeed Studios will host a collaboration of Paul DesLauriers and Anwar Khurshid -?two virtuosos coming together for a musical meeting between the Blues and Indian classical music. The result is a true “East meets West” collaboration that transcends continents and cultures.

The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Born from a mutual love and respect for each other’s music, celebrated blues guitarist DesLauriers and sitar player of international renown Khurshid, engage in a skilful and respectful musical dialogue that takes the listener on a journey from Delhi to the Mississippi Delta.

Masters in their own right, Greg Morency on bass and Sam Harrisson on drums join DesLauriers and Khurshid for an evening of music.

Doors open at 7 p.m.

Admission is $18 or $15 for current BluMembers.
