SARANAC LAKE – Cary Bayer, a New York- and south Florida-based life coach who’s worked with Oscar-winners Alan Arkin (“Little Miss Sunshine”), Pietro Scalia (“JFK,” “Black Hawk Down”), Emmy-winners comic/director David Steinberg (Academy Awards presentations), Judy Henderson (“Homeland”), and Quality Inns, will come to Saranac Lake to teach a pair of classes on Sept. 10 and 11 to help people use the Gospels and the Bhagavad Gita as tools for inner transformation, and also see how the Gita can help make clear the meaning of life.

Bayer is the founder of Higher Self Healing Meditation and a former teacher of Transcendental Meditation and trainer of dozens of its teachers.

“The Gospel & the Gita: Transformation through the Teachings of Christ & Krishna,” will take plac from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10.

From 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, he’ll present “The Bhagavad Gita and the Secret of the Meaning of Life.”

The cost for each class is $25, when paid three days or more before the event, $30 after; and $40 for both when paid by Sept. 7, $50 for both after.
