Jenny Curtis blocks out a mural depicting pages flying out of a typewriter on the side of the Adirondack Center for Writing building on Broadway on Thursday. The final mural will be full of color and feature the phrase “Words Make Worlds.” Curtis is busy over the summer with the bands she is in, work at the Saranac Lake Free Library and giving friends tattoos for traded objects or food, but she hopes the mural will be finished by the end of the summer.
