HGTV will feature Tupper Lake realtor, Wild Center

TUPPER LAKE – HGTV will feature several local places in the Adirondacks in a special real estate presentation, as part of an on-going series.

Tupper Lake real estate Broker Jim LaValley of LaValley Real Estate, will appear with a Syracuse family on the network’s “Lakefront Bargain Hunt” at 8 p.m. Sunday, at 3 a.m. Monday and at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 23. The episode, titled, “Searching for an Adirondack Escape in New York,” will feature Bill and Romana Colucci searching for the perfect family getaway spot with their daughter Rachel Colucci.

According to HGTV, LaValley and the Coluccis will appear on a tour of Hidden Pines in the Cranberry Lake/Star Lake region. Their goal? To find a “rustic sanctuary that’s just right for them and falls within their budget.”

LaValley said that the filming took place during the summer of 2016 over a five-day period.

The filming also included some items of local interest, such as The Wild Center in Tupper Lake.

“We toured several properties that were of interest to the Coluccis,” LaValley said. “It will be fun to watch and see what property the family ultimately picks to purchase.”

“Lakefront Bargain Hunt” is currently in its fifth season. The reality TV show aims to help families find the lakefront properties of their dreams for affordable prices.
