SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake boys basketball team defeated the Franklin Academy (Malone) Huskies 58-56 on Monday in a non-league game.

The win pushes the Red Storm’s overall record to 15-3, while staying 9-2 in league play. The Saranac Lake boys were led by Mik Denkenberger with 17 points, Zack McCarthy had 15 points and Alius Martelle had 10 points.

The Red Storm were slated to take on Ausable Valley on Tuesday, before facing off against the Beekmantown Eagles in another league game on the road at 7 p.m.
