SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake boys basketball team defeated the Ticonderoga Sentinels 56-44 on the road Thursday in a league matchup.

The Red Storm was led by a strong defensive and rebounding effort from the entire team. Senior Mik Denkenberger paced Saranac Lake with 30 points, while fellow senior Cedar Crist chipped in 17.

The Red Storm improved to 10-1 overall and a 7-0 in league play. The team will host the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks at 7 p.m. today. Tupper Lake is currently 3-8 overall.
