Two Northwood players selected to All-American game

LAKE PLACID — Two Northwood School boys soccer players were picked to play in the 2025 All-American High School Soccer Game in Charleston, South Carolina, which featured 41 elite players from across the nation.

The two honorees were Northwood seniors and co-captains of the team, Noah Moodey and Tziyon Morris. Moodey, who plays center midfield, is from Lake Placid, while Morris, who plays center back, hails from Rochester, Minnesota.

The 15th annual High School All-American Game, which will take place on Dec. 13 at Wando High School in Charleston, South Carolina, is comprised of selected players who are seniors who represented their high school teams during the fall season.

These players have achieved many regional and national awards and will attend some of the top universities across the country, according to a press release. The participants will arrive on Thursday, Dec. 11, and will take part in team training and team activities.

The Northwood boys soccer team is currently ranked No. 2 in the National Prep Soccer Rankings, according to the latest poll from Sports Illustrated.
