SL spikers win ninth match
SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake volleyball team secured its ninth win this season on Tuesday, topping the Northeastern Clinton Cougars 3-0. The Red Storm swept the match with scores of 25-9, 25-11 and 25-10
Lexie Donaldson and Sophie Czadzeck paced Saranac Lake with well-rounded nights. Donaldson added 17 digs, 14 points, six aces and two assists. Czadzeck had 17 assists, 12 points, six aces, six digs and two kills.
Melody Costigan also had a solid outing, chipping in with 13 digs, eight points and two aces.
The Red Storm, which improved to 9-4 overall, will take on the Saranac Central Spartans at 6 p.m. today.
