LAKE PLACID — Whiteface Club Golf Course member and homeowner Jonathon King registered the first hole-in-one of the season at the time-honored track on June 26.

King used a seven iron to ace the par-three, 154-yard eighth hole.

The Whiteface Club is now looking forward to its annual One Club Plus Putter Tournament on Saturday, July 12. The annual event is a competition played on the course’s first nine holes.
