LAKE PLACID — Northwood School boys soccer players Liam Doyle and Sebastian Green have been named to this year’s High School All-American East Boys roster.

The two seniors will travel to Knoxville, Tennessee, to play in the High-School All-American game on Dec. 11.

The selection of the two marks the fourth year in a row that the school has had at least one player selected for the High School All-American team. Previously, Arnezha Astwood and Alvaro Garcia Pascual were selected in 2020. Mateo Rodriguez was selected in 2019, and in 2018, Chris Athansiadis and Inaki Rodriguez were selected.

Green, and Doyle who recently announced his commitment to Stanford University, will be playing alongside and against a total of 43 high school level soccer players.

Before both players travel for the All-American game, the Northwood boys soccer team will finish up its season. The team is slated to play in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday before coming home to play on the new artificial turf field at the school for the first time on Sunday.
