To the editor:

I am not much for politics and, unfortunately, cannot vote in village elections as a resident of Bloomingdale, but, as they have been there for me, I am writing to express my strong support for Mayor Jimmy Williams, Josh King and Katie Stiles in the upcoming village of Saranac Lake election.

As a local business owner and community event director, I have had the opportunity to work closely within our community and observe firsthand the leadership, dedication and integrity these individuals bring to public service. Throughout my experiences, they have consistently demonstrated a genuine commitment to supporting local businesses, strengthening community partnerships and fostering an environment where families can thrive.

Their approach to leadership reflects a clear understanding of the importance of community connection. They are visible, approachable and actively engaged in initiatives that promote economic vitality, community events and family-centered programming. In my role organizing events that bring residents and visitors together, I have found them to be reliable partners who listen, collaborate and offer meaningful support that helps ensure success for both businesses and community organizations.

Beyond professional collaboration, their focus on family values and community well-being is evident in their advocacy for initiatives that enhance quality of life, encourage civic engagement and preserve the character of Saranac Lake. They recognize that a strong village is built on relationships, opportunity and thoughtful leadership — principles they embody through their service.

For these reasons, I confidently support Mayor Jimmy Williams, Josh King and Katie Stiles and encourage residents to consider their continued dedication, accessibility, and proven record of community-focused leadership when casting their votes.
