Central New York No Kings Rally, March 28

To the editor:

Do you know where you will be on March 28? I know what is on my calendar.

You can find me at the No Kings Rally at Fort Stanwix National Monument, standing with a group of like-minded neighbors as we join hands and circle the fort.

The event begins at 11:30 a.m.

We will be joyful. There will be signs — some funny, all carrying messages of protecting our freedom, peace and voting rights. There will be music, singing and even a little dancing. Most of all, there will be community — people sharing friendship, hope and a belief that our democracy works best when ordinary citizens show up.

Join us as we call for an end to the war in the Middle East. Join us as we ask that our government use dollars for health care and the needs of our communities rather than more war. Join us as we urge Congress to make it easier to vote, not harder.

Please mark your calendar for March 28 and stand with us.
