3P thanks

To the editor:

Thank you for your continued coverage of the annual Saranac 3P (Pole, Pedal, Paddle) race. Next year will be our fifth running of the multi-sport race and the Enterprise has been there to cover it every step of the way.

All of us on the race committee feel tremendous gratitude for the community which helps to pull this off. Indeed, highlighting the community and its tremendous outdoor recreation opportunities has always been the point of the 3P.

We’d like to thank our headline sponsor, RiverTrail Beerworks, as well as our presenting sponsors: Adirondack Health, Say Rentals/Say Real Estate, and Goody Goodys, which sponsored the Kids 3P race.

Our main segment sponsors help us prepare year-long for this exciting race — Bing, Bang, Boom Inc., Bishop Telemark, Capisce Coffee, Hyde Fuel, Tissot Construction Inc., Hudson Headwaters Health Network, Nori’s, High Peaks Cyclery, Icelantic Skis and Immersion Research.

We thank our community sponsors: The Book Nook, Origin Coffee, North Country Savings Bank, Placid Planet, Suspenz, Swix, The Wine and Spirits Shoppe, Tri Lakes Marine, Trudeau Sand and Gravel, Upstate Auto Service, Wayne Darrah Auto, the Wilkens Agency, Woods and Waters, Forest Home Building Company, Bitters and Bones, Corrina Maggy Designs, Maui North, Edward Jones, Grizzle T’s/The Scullery, T.F. Finnigans, Black Diamond, 1UP, Darn Tough and Lake Placid Ski and Board.

Finally, we are grateful for the support of our partners: Dewey Mountain Recreation Center, Saranac Lake Fish and Game Club, Hotel Saranac, town of Tupper Lake/Tin Man, the Saranac Lake Village Improvement Society, the Village of Saranac Lake/Mt. Pisgah and Coakley Hardware.

Next year’s race is March 6 and we are hosting a fall backcountry 3P race on Oct. 17.
