To the editor:

It is now obvious that a significant minority of Americans wish to live in a white, monocultural, ethnostate where freedom of speech exists only for those who support those in power. Where freedom of the press exists only for state approved media. Where due process and the rule of law are subject to the whims of the leader. Where everyone is constantly surveilled, but those loyal to the leader are safe and have nothing to worry about. Where police and government agents are not bound by any restrictions on their ability to search, seize or use force. Again, no need to worry if you are in the right group. Where election results are never in doubt.

If you are one of the Americans that wants to live in a country like this, there is good news. You don’t have to do the hard work of making America into that kind of country. Instead, there are already countries like this. Hungary and Russia come to mind, and they accept immigrants from America. MAGA leaders have heaped praise on Victor Orban for what he has done in Hungary, and they seem to have an affinity for Vladimir Putin of Russia. So check it out. I’m sure you would be happy there and they would be glad to have you.
