To the editor:

We owe a debt of gratitude to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise for many reasons — just surviving as a newspaper in these times is a miracle unto itself and we need you now more than ever! Who wants a howitzer range in their backyard or even in the next town when there are so many other options? Your reporting is so in-depth and fact-filled and yet impartial, so we have all the information necessary to make our own decisions. This is Pulitzer Prize-winning reporting without a doubt. Kudos to your reporters, editors and publishers as we navigate this greedy and horrendous situation. As a journalist and student of journalism since my high school days on a Columbia Scholastic Award-winning newspaper and then later as an all-around reporter and sports editor of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Riverdale Press (a weekly in The Bronx), I stand with the Adirondack Daily Enterprise in spirit. Please enter my subscription and I know Cathy Moore must be very proud of the current staff and work you are doing.
