Thank you, Carpenter Foundation
To the editor:
Once again, we at First United Methodist Church of Saranac Lake have received a grant from the Carpenter Foundation for our weekly community suppers.
The foundation’s support plays a huge part not only in feeding the hungry, but also in the fellowship of gathering with others. We are well aware that many elderly folks welcome the chance to share a meal with others as loneliness is so devastating to those who live alone.
We are dedicated to this ministry and appreciate the support of the Carpenter Foundation. Thank you so much.
