To the editor:

I am writing in support of Johnny Williams, who has served on the Harrietstown council for the past four years and is now seeking re-election. I believe Johnny has a clear understanding of the best direction for our community and, just as importantly, knows how to get us there. I hope voters will choose to keep him as one of our elected leaders.

Understanding alone is not enough, action is what moves a community forward. Johnny has shown time and again that he can bring people together for the greater good. A perfect example is the $500,000 raised for the Food Shelter and Backpack Program through the annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot. The ability to rally people around a cause, inspire generosity, and achieve tangible results year after year are the qualities I value most in a community leader, and Johnny embodies them fully.
