Voting for Williams again
To the editor:
I’m writing to offer my full support for Johnny Williams in his bid for re-election to the Harrietstown Council.
I voted for Johnny in 2021, and I’ll proudly do so again in 2025 — regardless of what party line he appears on. In a time when politics too often divides neighbors, Johnny brings people together. He is a registered Independent for a reason: he’s here to serve everyone in Harrietstown, not a political party. That’s exactly the kind of leadership we need more of.
Johnny is a lifelong resident of Saranac Lake who knows our people, understands our challenges, and has a clear vision for the future. He’s a successful small business owner, a job creator, a mentor to local youth, and a devoted husband and father. His commitment to this community runs deep — whether it’s serving on the Town Council, helping lead airport revitalization efforts, or organizing the annual Turkey Trot, which has raised over half a million dollars for local causes.
Johnny leads by example. He’s motivated, hard-working, and deeply connected to the everyday needs of Harrietstown residents. His ongoing work with the North Country Workforce Development Board is just one more example of his dedication to investing in our youth and our future.
This isn’t about party lines. It’s about character, commitment, and results. Let’s keep moving Harrietstown forward with someone who truly puts people first. I strongly encourage my neighbors to join me in voting for Johnny Williams this November.
