I am writing to express my strong support for Doug Haney’s candidacy for Harrietstown Town Council. Having witnessed Doug’s contributions to our community over the years, I believe he possesses the unique combination of thoughtfulness, integrity, drive and entrepreneurial spirit that our town needs to address the challenges we face.

As a successful local entrepreneur, Doug has demonstrated the business acumen and problem-solving skills that will serve our town well. His experience has taught him how to bring people together, develop creative solutions and turn ideas into action — exactly the approach we need for tackling complex issues like our affordable housing crisis. Doug’s “can-do” spirit isn’t just talk: it’s evident in initiatives like ADK Unite, which has raised thousands of dollars for local food pantries. His thoughtful approach to community issues, combined with his proven ability to execute successful projects, makes him an ideal candidate to help guide Harrietstown forward.
