Russia invaded Ukraine
To the editor:
Everybody knows that Russia invaded Ukraine three years ago, right? So why in the world is Donald Trump saying the opposite, that Ukraine invaded Russia?
The war has killed or wounded one million people on both sides, and I’m sure most everyone wants that tragedy to stop. But it’s worrisome, and, frankly, embarrassing, that the president doesn’t have the facts right. And he’s started negotiating with Russia without Ukraine. It doesn’t make any sense to exclude Ukraine from the talks. Putin must be thrilled.
