State lawmakers should have term limits
To the editor:
I support Assemblyman Brian Maher, who has introduced a bill (A7345) that would establish term limits for the governor and the legislature. Gov. Kathy Hochul needs term limits as well. Gov. Kathy Hochul is planning to close more prisons in New York state. She ignores issues in the Adirondacks and the North Country because she only focuses on the city of Buffalo. She gives millions of dollars to that city to fix their neighborhoods, while neglecting neighborhoods in the North Country and Hudson Valley.
