To the editor:

“Until now, [n]o American president had ever been involved in a criminal trial. No American president had ever faced a federal indictment for retaining and concealing classified documents. No American president had ever faced a federal indictment or a state indictment for trying to overturn an election, or been named an unindicted co-conspirator in two other states for the same crime. No American president had ever been convicted and faced hundreds of millions of dollars in judgments for business fraud, defamation, and sexual abuse …” George Stephanopoulos of ABC’s This Week.

So, why should he be president?

Why should a man be president who argues he has complete immunity from his actions while president, even shooting an opponent?

Why should a man be president who believes in absolute power, unchecked by the Constitutional powers of checks and balances?

Why should a man be president who doesn’t believe in freedom of religion?

This fall, vote for those who will uphold the Constitution, our rules of law, and our common values of mutual respect and justice.

Vote for honest Joe, a working man’s president.
